How to prevent Diabetes in Seniors/senior citizens?


Senior citizens must take good care of their health in order to prevent diabetes. This may be done in the following manner:

They must exercise regularly, even if mildly, to keep their weight under check.
Exercising regularly will also take care of the cardio-vascular aspect of the body which is prone to diseases like heart attack and stroke.
Go to the doctor regularly for a study of the blood sugar level.
A healthy diet would be of a further help, such as, fried food must be replaced by grill or baked food.
